Corporal Timothy O'Conner - End of Watch 03-08-26
Message to the Cadets of Chester County Camp Cadet
To all of our Camp Cadets past and present,
Many of you had the opportunity to meet and work with Corporal Tim O’Connor during your time at Chester County Camp Cadet. Corporal O’Connor was one of the troopers who volunteered his time each year to help guide and mentor young people just like you.
Tim believed deeply in the mission of Camp Cadet — helping young people grow in confidence, leadership, discipline, and respect. Whether he was leading an activity, sharing a lesson, or simply talking with cadets about their goals, he cared deeply about the future of every young person he met.
This week, our Camp Cadet family suffered a heartbreaking loss. Corporal O’Connor was killed while serving the community he loved as a Pennsylvania State Trooper.
While this is a difficult moment for all of us, we hope you remember the lessons he shared:
to lead with integrity, to stand up for others, and to serve your community with pride.
Those lessons are part of the legacy he leaves behind through each of you.
Corporal O’Connor believed in you. Honor his memory by continuing to live the values he taught.
The entire Chester County Camp Cadet Board and staff are keeping his family, fellow troopers, and all of our cadets in our thoughts.
